Instructions
- In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, cocoa powder, and whole milk.
- Microwave the mixture for 45 seconds until it starts to simmer, stirring as needed in 15-second intervals.
- Stir in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, whisking until smooth.
- Pour the frosting over cake or brownies while warm and let it set at room temperature for about 2 hours, or in the fridge uncovered for 1 hour.
