Description
This Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge is irresistibly rich and creamy, made with sweetened condensed milk, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and peanut butter. Perfect for a quick treat or special occasion, it’s easy to make and a delightful indulgence for fudge lovers!
Ingredients
Scale
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 2¼ cups (383g) semi-sweet chips
- 2 tbsp butter
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1 ¾ cup (274g) peanut butter chips
- ½ cup (135g) creamy peanut butter
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line a 9×9 inch pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil, leaving overhang on two sides for easy removal. Set aside.
- In a large microwave safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, semi-sweet chocolate chips, butter, and salt for the chocolate layer. In a second bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, peanut butter chips, creamy peanut butter, and salt for the peanut butter layer.
- Microwave the chocolate mixture for 1 minute, then stir. Do the same for the peanut butter mixture. Both should not be fully melted yet.
- Continue microwaving in short intervals: Microwave the chocolate for another 30 to 45 seconds, stir, then microwave the peanut butter bowl for the same duration until both mixtures are smooth and fully melted.
- Stir in the vanilla extract into each bowl, ensuring they remain warm for easy pouring.
- Spread a third of the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan. Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture on top and gently swirl with a knife. Repeat layering chocolate, then peanut butter, and swirling until both mixtures are used. The final swirl might look jagged; use a spatula to smooth it gently.
- Let the fudge set at room temperature for 4 to 6 hours or overnight until firm. Remove it from the pan using the parchment overhang and cut into squares, cleaning the knife between cuts.
Notes
For cleaner swirls, keep both mixtures warm while layering.
If a mixture thickens, microwave it for 10 to 15 seconds to loosen it up.
Using a sharp knife will help you cut neat squares.
