- 2 pounds seedless red grapes
- 2 pounds seedless green grapes
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup pecans or walnuts roughly chopped
Instructions
- Wash the grapes and remove all stems before drying them completely.
- Optional but recommended: Toast nuts in the oven at 350 degrees for 7-10 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix these ingredients until they are well combined.
- Gently fold the grapes into the cream cheese mixture until they are evenly coated.
- Cover the mixture and refrigerate it for at least 1-2 hours before serving to let flavors meld.
- Before serving, sprinkle the top with brown sugar and pecans or walnuts, but do not mix.
Notes
For an added crunch, toast the nuts before adding them to the salad.
Chill the salad for a couple of hours for the best flavor.
