Description

These Easter Bunny M&M Cookies are a celebration of flavor and fun! With a soft texture and colorful M&M’s, they’re an easy homemade treat that’s perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups m&m's


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs to the mixture and beat well until fully combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and baking powder together.
  5. Gradually pour the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  6. Gently fold in 1 cup of M&M's until evenly distributed in the dough.
  7. Scoop out 1 1/2 tablespoons of dough and place on the prepared cookie sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes at 375 degrees, or until lightly golden.
  9. After removing from the oven, press the remaining M&M's into the cookies in the shape of Easter bunnies.

Notes

For a chewier cookie, do not overbake; keep them slightly soft in the center.
Feel free to mix different types of M&M’s for a colorful variety.
These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
