Description

This Puppy Chow is a delightful treat made with rice Chex, creamy peanut butter, and rich chocolate. It’s easy to prepare and a favorite among snack lovers for its sweet and crunchy texture, making it ideal for parties or cozy movie nights.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups rice chex cereal
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups powdered sugar


Instructions

  1. Pour Chex cereal into a large bowl and set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Melt over low heat, stirring frequently until fully melted and combined. Stir in vanilla.
  3. Pour the melted mixture over the Chex cereal and mix until evenly coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a gallon Ziplock bag. Add powdered sugar, seal the bag, and shake until the cereal is thoroughly coated.

Notes

For an extra crunch, mix in some pretzels or nuts before coating with powdered sugar.
Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
