Description

This Berry Tart features a flaky puff pastry topped with sweet mixed berries and luscious strawberry jam. Perfect for gatherings or a simple treat, its quick prep and vibrant flavors make it a must-try for dessert lovers.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed, cut in half
  • 2 cups mixed fresh berries
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tablespoons strawberry jam, divided
  • powdered sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ºF and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the berries and sugar, gently stir, and let stand for 5 minutes.
  3. Place the puff pastry on the prepared baking sheet and cut it in half.
  4. Spread 2 tablespoons of strawberry jam down the center of each pastry sheet, then evenly divide and arrange the berries over the jam.
  5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, dust with powdered sugar, cut, and serve.

Notes

Feel free to use any combination of berries you love.
For a touch of citrus, add a sprinkle of lemon zest on top before serving.
