Description

This Tiramisu Layer Cake combines rich flavors of espresso, creamy mascarpone, and buttery cake. Perfect for celebrations or an indulgent dessert, it’s easy to make and sure to impress your guests with its delightful taste.


Ingredients

  • 2 Boxes Vanilla Cake Mix (15.25 Ounce Boxes)
  • 2 Cups Whole Milk
  • 1 Cup Unsalted Butter
  • 6 Eggs
  • ¼ Cup Instant Espresso
  • 1 Cup Boiling Water
  • 6 Ounces Mascarpone Cheese
  • 16 Ounces Cream Cheese (Softened)
  • ½ Cup Butter (Softened)
  • 6 Cups Powdered Sugar
  • 3 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 5-7 Tablespoons Heavy Cream
  • ¼ Cup Cocoa Powder
  • Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and prepare three 9-inch round cake pans with nonstick baking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, whole milk, butter, eggs, instant espresso, and boiling water until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  3. Pour the batter evenly into the three prepared cake pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Allow the cakes to cool completely before leveling the tops with a cake leveler and transferring them to 10-inch cake boards.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing.
For added flavor, consider soaking the cake layers with a coffee syrup before frosting.
Decorate with chocolate covered espresso beans for a decorative touch.
