Description

This Waldorf Salad combines crisp apples, sweet grapes, and crunchy pecans in a creamy dressing. Perfect for a quick meal or a light side dish. Easy, fresh, and utterly delightful!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups apples, diced
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup celery (diced)
  • 1 cup grapes (halved)
  • 1/2 cup pecan halves (roughly chopped)
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream (whipped)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp salt


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine diced apples with sugar and lemon juice, tossing to coat.
  2. Add in the diced celery, halved grapes, and roughly chopped pecans.
  3. In a separate large bowl, whip the cream until peaks form, then gently stir in the mayonnaise.
  4. Carefully fold the apple mixture into the whipped cream mixture and season with salt. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Chill for at least 1 hour or overnight before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding walnuts in place of pecans.
The salad is best served fresh but can be prepared a day in advance.
Adjust the sugar based on the sweetness of the apples.
